FAQ
Why did you elect to have a door instead of a see thru front?
We were asked to design an enclosure that is lockable, watertight, simple, and no clear Plexiglas in front of the TV to add glare or distort the TV image in any way.

It also enabled us to have much better sound, and include room for a sound bar on the Large TV Fortress
Can I use any mount?
Any bracket that is VESA 400 x 400 for the Small Fortress and 600 x 400 for the Large Fortress will work. We highly recommend that you choose a bracket that has a 125+ weight limit. Our enclosures are the lightest metal products on the market in order to use most brackets. We have had much success with the bracket below..
How hard is the TV Fortress to install?
After you mount your bracket to the wall, use 4 screws (included) and attach the brackets the back of TV Fortress, then 4 screws to attach the internal mounting brackets to the back of your TV and that's all.

Do you have a way to protect the TV Fortress and TV from theft?
We have a designed a custom theft proof flush mount bracket and have cam locks available instead of standard knobs..
Do I need to worry about heat and cold?
Since the Fortress has an open front, your TV will be operating at the outside temperature. It is not recommended to watch TV in sub freezing weather, but we think our customers won't really want to be outside watching TV in sub freezing temps. Remember that TV's are shipped in all kinds of extreme weather and are not damaged, as they are not turned on..
does TV Fortress come with a locking mechanism?

TV Installation in the TV Fortress
1. Place your TV on a sturdy table screen facing down.
2. The screw holes in the back of the TV may be hidden by plastic plugs. Just pry them off.
3. Locate the mounting brackets and line them up with the VESA screw holes on the back of your TV.
Use the examples below to set proper fitment.
4. Tighten the screws thru the Brackets into the TV.
5. Lift up the TV and place the tilting hook of the bracket on the top internal mounting rail of the Fortress
6. Pull the cords slightly to open the bracket locking mechanism, then release the cords locking the TV in place.
7. To remove the TV pull the cords and pull the bottom of the TV forward then lift the TV up and out of the TV Fortress.
Custom Theft Proof Flush Mount Installation
1. Install the Top and Bottom Brackets on your wall. Be sure to attach the brackets with the proper secure hardware (not included).
2. Attach the Top and Bottom brackets to the back of the TV Fortress (7 bolts (1/2 IN) included)

3. Lift the Fortress and lower the brackets into the brackets mounted on the wall, it should self level.
4. Looking inside the Fortress find the Locking set screw hole, insert and tighten the set screw.
